Quick and easy maintenance
The wick of the Waxburner builds up soot on the surface over time and the Waxburner is difficult or impossible to light. The black crust offers the flame no surface to attack and must be removed. You can do this quickly, easily and cleanly with the Desooter. The spikes of the tool are pressed slightly into the wick and the soot crust is broken up and loosened by turning (or pulling with Waxburner XL) . You can then tip out the soot. The fibres of the wick are now fanned out again and the smouldering fire can be easily ignited.
The Desooter for the Outdoor Waxburner use can also be used for Indoor Waxburner.
