The Fire Bowl XL is a fire bowl and heater in one. You can use it to enjoy a safe and cosy fire, light and warmth in the garden on the patio or balcony. The fire bowl is robust and hard-wearing, mobile and easy to transport.
The thick-walled bowl is placed in the stainless steel stand. The holding ring in the centre allows easy alignment of the bowl.
Use dry, split firewood for heating. The fire bowl can absorb and store a particularly large amount of heat - approx. 3 × more than steel. This reduces the fuel requirement with the same heat storage capacity. Even after the flame has gone out, the Fire Bowl XL continues to give off heat for a very long time. Thanks to its hemispherical shape, heat is radiated over a large radius.
For grilling and roasting, we offer a matching pan and a grill grate for placing on top on request.
The diameter of the stand at its widest point is 50 cm, the ceramic bowl has an outer diameter of 41 cm.
The fire ceramic
The Fire Bowl XL is made by hand in our workshops from CeraFlam, the protected Denk fire ceramics. There is probably no other ceramic material with such extraordinary properties. A natural fire ceramic whose material structure is derived from the results of space research. CeraFlam is permanently heat-resistant, stores heat for a long time and is not subject to ageing. CeraFlam is only available from Denk.
The fuel
Any wood can be burnt in the firebox. Charcoal can also be used.
Cleaning
After use, the ash can be easily emptied. To do this, remove the tray from the rack and tip out the ash. Please note that embers can remain in the ash for up to 24 hours. You can use the wood ash as an excellent fertiliser.
In winter
The Fire Bowl XL can be used in winter without any restrictions.
The accessories
We offer a large round grill grate as an accessory. Barbecuing and roasting on the Firebowl XL is very simple: just let the wood burn down and place the grill on top depending on the desired heat.
You can then also use the Celtic Cauldron or our enamelled Frying pan with the grill grate. Simply place the Celtic pot / frying pan on the grill grate and the roasting fun can begin.
Our Firelighter is recommended for easy lighting of the wood. You can easily light even large pieces of wood with cooking oil or leftover candles.
