Insect Station Granicium
Our patented Insect Station is a drinking and feeding station in one. Flying insects are attracted by the blue paint. The sponge included can be soaked in syrup (e.g. sugar water) as a nectar substitute and placed in the middle. Solid food (e.g. pieces of fruit) can be placed on the inside edge. The water channel that runs all the way around the feeder acts as a watering place and also protects the food from ants.
Numbers of flying insects have fallen drastically as natural food sources continue to dwindle. But bees, bumble-bees, butterflies, wild bees and even wasps are crucial for plant pollination and for preserving the balance of nature.
